Brian was not only District Grand Master of the Order of Royal & Select Masters for 16 years but a very active Member in the Craft, Chapter, Mark, and other Progressive Orders.
Brian was one of the nicest, funniest and most helpful characters that one could wish to know, always helpful, considerate, knowledgeable and a very modest man. I shall certainly miss his wise council and advice but above all his friendship.
We send our deepest sympathies to his family on their sad loss.

I am now into my second year as District Grand Master of Dorset, Hampshire & Isle of Wight, and it has been an Honour and privilege to serve this District. The success of this Order has been with the support, encouragement and enthusiasm of its members and long may it continue.
Although we are still in the grips of a recession, our membership has increased during the past 2 years, with another Council just consecrated at Brockenhurst in November of last year (2012). The success of this Order has been by the endeavours of all our members, by carrying out our Ceremonies to a high standard and thereby encouraging the Companions to convey the happiness and meaning of our wonderful Degrees.I look forward to meeting and talking to you all during my travels through the District with my new District Officers and may I take this opportunity of thanking the outgoing District Officers for support during the past year.I encourage you to visit and support the other Councils in the District and widen your circle of friends, I can assure you that you will be made most welcome.Thank you all CompanionsR.Ill.Comp.
