District Grand Master

I am now half way through my 6 th Year as your District Grand Master and I am pleased to report a further increase in the membership in the District during the last year. In addition to the work of recruiting new members the standard of ritual in the Councils continues to be high and a delight to listen to. You all have my thanks for your continued efforts on behalf of your Councils, and the Order.
In November the Deputy Grand Master (at that time), Right Illustrious Companion Kessick John Jones consecrated the William Cobbett Council No 325 at Botley and I am pleased to say it is attracting Candidates into our Order.  This brings our number of Councils to 11, and there is an interest in forming a new Council in Dorset possibly in the Blandford Forum area, so if you are interested please email Ron Bentley, District Grand Recorder
Sadly we suffered the loss of some our Companions including Right Illustrious Companion Brian John Barfoot, our Past District Grand Master who died so suddenly on the 5 th of April, and we shall miss them all, but we shall always remember them with fond memories.
Companions the success of this Order has always been down to you, by carrying out the work in our Councils to a high standard, by supporting each other and above all communicating Happiness to all around us.

Thank you all Companions

R.Ill.Comp. George J. Deacon
District Grand Master
